Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Daniel Ravel earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago in 1979, then went on to complete his pediatric dentistry residency in Fort Meade, Maryland, earning his Pediatric Dentistry Certificate in 1992. He’s been a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 1995, more than 30 years now, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Before settling into private practice, Dr. Ravel served as a Dental Officer in the United States Army, where he earned the Order of Military Medical Merit and mentored pediatric dentistry residents at Fort Hood, Texas and Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He joined Village Family Dental (now practicing pediatric dentistry as part of Village Kids Dentistry) in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 2011, and holds staff privileges at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and Highsmith-Rainey Hospital.
