My husband and I have been trying to conceive now for about 6 months - although it is only in the last 3 months that we got the hang of ovulation days etc. By my calculations (which may be wrong), we have had intercourse at exactly the right time for the past 3 months but with no luck of conceiving! I have a relatively short cycle - about 26-27 days. This month we even used an ovulation predictor kit and followed it word for word but still no luck. Am I worrying unneccesarily? Does anyone have any advice/similar experiences?

Hi..Yep We are starting to feel exactly the same! We have been trying since August and tried the ovulator kits but still no luck. I am considering consulting my doctor as is my husband to see if there is any reason for not conceiving. Although on average it takes a couple 9 months to conceive it does start to become discouraging when you try so hard each month.

Hello Newfi, I think not only should you consult a doctor but for the next month or two I would try to go about a regular life and let it happen naturally. I seen it happen with a lot of couples who try so hard and all it does is stress them out, but as soon as they keep going on with their daily routine not even trying to get pregnant....BAM! it happens...lol so just try to calm down and start re-living your honeymoon. If that doesn't work then talk to a Doctor....GOOD LUCK!
