Crockpot Turkey Spaghetti Sauce
Serving Size: 4Â*
1 jar Ragú Old World Style Spaghetti Sauce -- any flavor
1 can of carrots or 4 carrots -- very finely choppedÂ*
1 green bell pepper -- diced
6 tablespoons ground basil -- fresh or dried
4 tablespoons ground garlic -- fresh or dried
5 tablespoons ground parsley -- fresh or dried
4 tablespoons ground oregano -- fresh or dried
1 pound ground turkey
Put the following ingredients into a crockpot: spaghetti sauce, chopped carrots, diced bell pepper, 3 tablespoons of basil, 2 tablespoons garlic, 2 tablespoon parsley, 2 tablespoon oregano. Cover and turn the crockpot to high. Then, cook the ground turkey in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon parsley while cooking. Add ground turkey to the crockpot.
Continue to cook on high for 3 hours, then add the remaining herbs.
Continue to cook on high for 1 to 2 hours or until the bell pepper and carrots are tender.
Serve sauce over spaghetti and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
